Dirk’s Tavern is nestled in the heart of historic Commercial Street in Springfield Missouri.

Founded by two passionate gamers, Ben Frisch and Nate Shuler, our shop is more than a place to buy games, it’s a community where players of all ages come together to share their love of tabletop games.

We wanted to build a space that felt unique and held true to the vibe of Commercial Street and its unique historic roots. Warm lighting, antique furniture, wooden tables and comfy chairs. We wanted to make it feel like you are playing in your friends basement; somewhere you feel cozy and where everyone feels welcome.
